Summer has come in a flurry of activity. Along the Roadway was a good show with many visitors to the Gallery stopping in for a look and to enjoy our receptions with us.
I admit to being lost in images that hold multiple meanings and possibilities and that cling close to the earth and the spiritual. I haven't created much art - a sunny, but shady summer piece from a walk about the park near our house. The charcoals that come from deep within. I am working on retraining myself to think and truly experience what is before my eyes, and to really look - not at what I THINK something is, but to see what it REALLY is. We miss swimming in our beautiful Gulf. Temperatures of over 100 F have suddenly come upon us. Here's hoping you are having a good summer and that the world around you is holding much beauty for you.
