This year I followed my own suggestions, and will give some art for Christmas. It will be a gift to hear back how much the art will be appreciated. I am also reminded, I had better get to the easel and practice "prolificery" in creating - yes, I know, that is a new word.
One year, long ago, my sister and my niece and nephew came and stayed with me in Iowa for a lengthy time and through Christmas. We had so little money, but we had so much fun. We made homemade gifts for Christmas, many decorated cookies and breads, as well as handmade gifts for family. It was one of the best Christmases we ever had. The best gift was that our love expanded for one another, so much. Here is wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season - Green Tips: Remember to recycle - don't forget the Creation - feed the little birds outside, if you use a live tree, plant another! Or two! I remember how my parents used to have us carefully put away the used wrapping paper and ribbons for another year. We cut up the Christmas cards and made package tags for the coming year. Even that was fun.
